    What Customers Say

"I usually prefer light and mild flavors. Personally, I find the signature ramen a bit too strong and heavy. For someone who enjoys lighter food, it feels overly rich and somewhat greasy. The portion size is on the smaller side, and the price is relatively high. That said, overall it is a ramen restaurant with good quality and a refined feel."

"Four of us tried Menshu Ramen for the first time after hearing great things. Cool, modern spot with plenty of parking and a fun courtyard. *Atmosphere: Stylish Asian-modern interior with booths, high-tops, and neon and hanging lights around and in the bar. It was loud from hard surfaces and packed crowds, and the staff “welcome shouts” are very loud, kind of charming and welcoming, but loud in an already loud space. Atmosphere: 8/10. Food: Beautiful presentation across the board. Karaage chicken was crispy outside and steamy inside with a nice vinaigrette. My shiitake mushroom was branded with their logo, which was cool and delicious. This location only offers chicken soup and miso broths, no tonkatsu, which we were disappointed to learn varies by location. Ramen bowls were rich, thick, and good, but a bit flat in flavor for the price. Dessert (Matcha Latte Pudding) looked great but tasted mild, was decent, smooth, gentle texture. Food: 8/10. Service: Outstanding. Friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable staff. The welcome yell is charming in theory but honestly sometimes jarring in practice, one unexpected shout right behind our chairs rattled all of us. Service: 9/10. Value: Ramen at $29 plus $5 toppings (and even $50 bowls) feels steep. Good ramen, yes, but not twice as good as a $15–$20 bowl elsewhere. For four people with one shared app, four ramens, two drinks, and one dessert, total was $225 with tip. Value: 7/10. Overall: Good experience, good ramen, great service, pricey for what it is. I’d like to try another location with tonkatsu broth to compare and see if that brings value up. Photos are attached of the food, menu, and interior. I hope this helps you."

"We have been here many times and we have always enjoy our meals. We had the GKO, Classic Toripaitan, enoki chips, aji fry, and matcha pudding — everything was incredible from start to finish. The ramen broth was rich and flavorful, noodles perfectly chewy, and toppings super fresh. The GKO had a great balance of spice and depth, while the Classic Toripaitan was silky and comforting. The enoki chips and aji fry made for the perfect crispy sides, and the matcha pudding was the ideal way to finish the meal — light, smooth, and just sweet enough. The staff are always friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere had that cozy, modern ramen-bar vibe. Definitely one of the best ramen spots in Phoenix — can’t wait to come back!"
