Phoenix Zoo

"We had a great time with our group, The Tucson Steampunk Society. We got all dressed up in our Steampunk finery and enjoyed visiting with friends while strolling through the zoo, checking out all the wonderful light displays at Zoolights. My favorites were the Christmas Tree that changed colors and pictures in the middle of the lake. I also loved the jelly fish and octopus displays. I took many pictures and video of these. I also got tickled every time I saw a child with the flamingo bubble wand. I had to pick one up at the gift shop on my way out."

"Such a beautiful place to spend time with family. We have a membership and it's so worth it. My family loves seeing all of the animals and I love seeing all the plants too. They do such a nice job of maintaining a wide variety of plants and have added new enclosures that make it easy to see the animals while giving them more space to roam. The staff are very friendly and my kids love asking them questions about the animals. In the warmer months you can see the alligators get fed on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 9:30. In the summer months my kids love to spend time at the splash pad and I love stopping by the orangutans half way through our visit to cool off in the air conditioning 😎"

"I have not been to Zoo lights in a while but this time around I had a blast. It's so pretty to see all the lights up with animal themes. They even added a talking giraffe. It's a great family activity. Worth the visit 100 percent."
